NEW YEAR DAY WALK
Saturday January 4th 2025
MEET : Fosse Meadows carparks ( free )
Nr SHARNFORD
Walk starts "prompt" 9:45 due to short day length.
ROUTE : From the carparks, we head down the Leicestershire Round on the old " Fosse Way " to Highcross, then turn east for Claybrooke Parva and Magna with hopefully a pub stop. Then a short walk back to the carparks.
TERRAIN : Relatively flat and easy.
MILEAGE : 5 Miles
REFRESHMENTS : Bring a packed lunch. There maybe a pub stop
Driving Info : From Leicester, drive through Narborough on the B4114 towards Sharnford. Just before that village, take a left turn on a road signposted for Frolesworth, then take a right turn, after a few yards, the 2 carparks will be on the right.
