Mendham Lodge is a lovely Grade II listed C16 Manor House situated in the heart of the beautiful Waveney Valley. It is set in wooded grounds of 2 acres, which includes a cart lodge with garage, a walled garden with greenhouse, a parterre garden, a daffodil glade, lawn, loggia, herb garden and a large pond. There is a field gate with views to the water meadows beyond.

The kitchen has a pantry and larder and is unfitted in the main, although there is both an Aga and electric hob and oven for cooking.There is a boot room, utility room and indoor log room. There is heating, Wifi and six bedrooms with either double or single beds - no bunk beds. Pets are welcome.

The Manor is set in a valley with hills to one side and water meadows behind. There are plenty of footpaths in the area.
The Alfred Munnings Pub and Shotford farm shop and tearoom are within walking distance, as is the village center.
The area is very popular with walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers.
